Ending "Live Tissue Trainings"
Combat medics need hands-on training tools to practice saving lives.
Years ago that meant shooting and stabbing pigs, goats, and dogs to then use them as test dummies.
Elite military units are switching to high-tech, human simulators, which DoD studies show are more realistic and less expensive.
We support this transition for combat medics, and for other areas in which studies show the transition can be made.
